BETTER WITH BOGLE.

A bottle of Bogle wine pairs well with everyday stuff, like a ball game, book club, or a random Tuesday when your neighbor stops by because they got locked out of their house.  Bogle is one of the best wines out there for around $10. So it’s for regular people who just love wine, not for wine snobs. And that was the insight that led to this campaign; “Better with Bogle” is based on the notion that plain, old everyday life activities are made just a little better with a glass of wine.

  • Bogle is family owned vineyard that’s been making wines in California for three generations. And they make some of the best wines for around $10 bucks. Google “best $10 wines” and there are all kinds of lists and usually Bogle is on them. Bogle wines can be found in grocery stores all over the country. They’re incredible accesible and drink like wines twice and three times their price. Josh Denberg is a freelance copywriter in San Francisco who has worked with a number of different wine and alcohol brands. And he needed to develop a tagline and idea that was simple, yet extendable. Better with Bogle is infinitely extendable because everything is better with Bogle.

  • The insight for the campaign is really that most wine advertising is stand off-ish and stuffy, while the majority of the people who drink wine and regular, everyday folks who love a glass of wine while they’re watching TV or ordering a pizza or dealing with their mother-in-law. Better with Bogle is all about the notion that those simple, every day, sometimes even annoying things are a lot better with a great glass of wine that doesn’t break the bank. As a freelance copywriter in San Francisco, Josh Denberg knows how to take a simple idea and extend across dozens of touchpoints while keeping it interesting.

  • Oddly, no.
